Privacy policy.

laxtontx.com (Laxton-TX) is run by Bean Local, LLC, a Texas company. This page covers what the site collects and what happens to it. Effective October 15, 2026.

What we collect

  • Contact and project notes: your name, email, message, and any scope answers you picked. These are saved to our database and emailed to us.
  • Quote accounts: if you open a quote, we keep your email and a hashed (scrambled) password, plus a record of sign-in and reset attempts, including IP address, to stop break-in attempts.
  • Payments: handled by Stripe. Card details never touch our server. We keep your billing email and payment status. See Stripe's privacy policy.
  • Analytics: a self-hosted copy of Plausible. It uses no cookies, does not identify you, and only counts visits and a few clicks, like form sends. It is not loaded on quote or admin pages.
  • Server logs: like any web server, ours briefly logs IP addresses and browser details for security and troubleshooting.

Cookies

  • One session cookie, set only when needed, to keep you signed in to a quote or keep a form working. No tracking or advertising cookies.

How we use it

  • Only to reply to you, prepare quotes, do and bill the work, and keep the site secure.
  • We do not sell or rent your information or share it for advertising.
  • The only outside services that handle it are the ones that run the site: SendGrid for email, Stripe for payments, and our own hosting.

How long we keep it

  • General messages are kept as long as needed to reply and follow up.
  • Quotes, contracts, invoices, payment records, and records of completed work are kept indefinitely as business records.
  • Messages caught by the spam filter are held for review, then deleted once confirmed as spam.

Your choices

  • You can ask to see, correct, or delete what we hold about you. Send a note through the contact page.
  • Quotes, contracts, invoices, payment records, and records of completed work cannot be deleted. They are kept indefinitely as business records.

Children

  • This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

  • If this policy changes, the new version and its date will be posted here.
